How can my dog be registered Elite Status?
If you can provide a 3-5 generation pedigree your dog can
be registered Elite
Can I register my dog if I do not know who the parents are?
Yes, The Designer Breed Registry will register a dog if the
parentage is unknown, that registration is referred to as Indefinite
Ancestry Listing or IAL. After breeding 3 generations registration of
progeny will be our standard registration. Take the register your

Can I register my dog if I have no information on my dog
except the breed he/she looks like?

How do I replace lost or stolen registration papers?
If a registration certificate has been lost, stolen or destroyed, the
current owner can request replacement papers .Replacement
papers are $20.00 Contact the registry 1-732-256-9415
Rush Service (paperwork processed within 5 business days/does not include mailing time) $10.00* If adding a Pedigree add $15.00
Expedited Shipping Service (paperwork received within 5 business days/available in the Continental US only) $35.00** If adding a pedigree paperwork will be

Rush guarantees your application will be processed to the fullest extent possible within five (full)business/ working days of DBR receiving the work. A USPS
tracking number will be also be applied
** If you are requesting Expedited Service you must check Expedite on the application.
Expedited Shipping Service puts completed registration paperwork back in customers’ hands within five business days of receipt at DBR, complete with a USPS
tracking number during transit.
Expedited Service requires paperwork to be submitted with a valid email address . The five-day turnaround is contingent upon all information contained in the
paperwork being correct. Any issues with the paperwork, such as missing or incorrect information, will cause a delay in this process. If issues arise, the customer
will be contacted via email. Upon resolving the issue(s), the paperwork will be sent back via the Expedited Service, if so requested. the DBR is not responsible for
increased processing time due to application errors.
Applications received by DBR with insufficient payment or incorrect or illegible information
will be entered and recorded within 5 business days; however, these applications will then be placed "On Hold" and 3 attempts to contact the applicant by phone or
email will be made specifying how to complete the registration. The Rush Service will be honored once the problem is resolved. The Rush fee will not be refunded
for applications received with incomplete information or if the application is delayed for reasons beyond the control of the DBR.
Applications for any optional mailing service received by the DBR after 1:30 pm EST will be processed the following business day. Applications received by the
DBR with insufficient payment or information will be entered and recorded within one business day; however, these applications will then be placed "On Hold" and a
notice will be sent to the applicant specifying how to complete the registration. If your card cannot be processed service will be honored once the problem is
resolved. Optional Service fee will not be refunded for applications not processed within service chosen if the delay is due to incomplete or incorrect information
submitted by the applicant or for reasons beyond the control of the DBR. Mailing address MUST be valid physical (Land) address (PO BOX ADDRESS NOT
ACCEPTABLE). Only available within Continental U.S. - Customers using address outside Continental U.S. or PO Box will receive work via U.S. Postal Service
"Express Mail" (as available).
